Do these chairs have those criss-cross straps that dig into your thighs? Or is this a different design?

No criss-cross straps. We removed them all. Just a huge padded seat, backrest, and headrest. No dig-in pressure points. It’s a supportive hug, not a wedgie. Sit, melt, repeat.
